For almost two decades, the Barbara Thumm Gallery at Markgrafenstraße 68 has been realising an outstanding, independent and international programme of conceptual cutting-edge approaches. The gallery works with internationally established artists as well as with younger emerging artists. It has accompanied numerous artists from the early stages of their careers. The gallery also regularly participates in international festivals such as Art Basel, art Berlin, ARCOMadrid, EXPO Chicago, frieze and Independent NY. The programme, including a focus on Latin American and specifically Peruvian artists, is multi-faceted and multi-media. A visit to the gallery is inspiring - and highly recommended.
